Urbanscreen Identidade
The URBANSCREEN maybe be one of the first collectives to use mapped projection as a form of urban intervention. Part of its work is the investigation of the phenomenon of transformation of public space and the forms of communication caused by digital image technologies.
During the Public Art Exhibition - URBE ARTE - held by CCBB_SP, URBANSCREEN created "Identidade", a gigantic projection on the facade of the São Paulo City Hall. ON assembled the entire audiovisual structure of the Exhibition and especially this installation. The 15,000 to 30,000 ANSI Lumens projectors were installed on a cantilevered structure at the top of the Shopping Light building on the other side of the Viaduto do Chá - more than 150m away!
